Essie LUXEFFECTS Collection Review

These are multi dimensional top coats free of DBP, toluene and formaldehyde. These on-trend top coats are designed to be worn over any nail color as a finishing touch.

Overall, I like Essie Luxeffects. They offer simple one step way to dress up any polish color. Some feels more textured than others (ACut Above and Set in Stone) but they do all dry in decent time and offer protection of regular top coats plus the extra "sparkles." My favourite is Shine of the Time: it's the multi color opalescent  one with flaky texture.

  1. GORGEOUS! I've heard that Essie, and OPI and some other high end nail polish companies are now "3 free" referring to the 3 chemicals. But do you know if they are all free of chemicals? Or just some polishes? I recently bought the OPI Envy but noticed it has formaldehyde in it... so I was wondering..
